Episode 91: Virtual provincial assembly of teachers and education workers in Ontario

In this episode we get a report back from the provincial assembly of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation. Close to 700 elected delegates and alternates gathered online from March 13-15 to elect a new provincial executive and set a path forward for the year ahead. The delegates and alternates were elected or selected by their local districts and bargaining units from across the province representing a broad diversity of job classes in education in Ontario. The assembly will re-convene “in adjournment” in June to continue its deliberations.
